How Often Should You Use Microdermabrasion Treatments
In 2006, microdermabrasion ranked as the forth most popular minimally invasive cosmetic procedure according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Yet, microdermabrasion treatments are not exclusive to the spa or doctor's office. In fact, microdermabrasions have dropped down the list of top aesthetic treatments because new at-home treatments allow men and women to perform their own microdermabrasions.
So how often should you perform microdermabrasion treatments on yourself? The answer depends on you. And by implementing the following four-step plan, you can become your own microdermabrasion expert.
1. What is you main objective for performing the dermabrasion treatment?
Before buying any skin care product, you want to know what you expect from the product, otherwise you really can't judge its benefits. What is the desire driving your microdermabrasion purchase?
Wrinkle reduction, acne scar removal, skin lightening, retexturize damaged skin, minimize freckles or age spots
2. What is your skin type?
The next determinant of how often you should use face abrasion techniques is your skin type: Sensitive, oily, dry, rough, leathery texture or a combination of these.
3. Pick a dermabrasion treatment based on your skin type and microdermabrasion goals
Naturally, if your skin is sensitive and you just want to treat freckles, you may not want to use a deep microdermabrasion product that might irritate your skin and cause hyperpigmentation. Then again, if you have rough textured skin, you don't want a dermabrasion treatment that barely exfoliates your skin.
Here are some general guidelines for matching a dermabrasion treatment to your skin type:
Sensitive skin type- microdermabrasion creams with small, smooth edged exfoliating agents, like baking soda crystals. Use creams containing no fragrances.
Dry skin types- use a cream- or non pore clogging oil-based microdermabrasion treatment. This will remove the damaged layers of the skin while still imparting moisture.
Oily and rough skin textures- damaged, oily skin contains an extra barrier that microdermabrasion treatments must penetrate in order to work. For these types of skin, look for microdermabrasion products that contain larger, more abrasive exofiating agents like crushed apricots or pomegranate. These larger, more aggressive dermabrasion treatments will help remove oils and tough skin layers better than milder facial scrubs.
4. Repeat microdermabrasion treatments based on your skin's response and repair rate
Once you have matched the right dermabrasion product to your skin type and skin goals, you have to monitor your skin to find the optimal frequency for repeating your microdermabrasion treatment.
One rule of thumb for performing a dermabrasion treatment is to look at your skin for signs of irritation or excess sensitivity after microdermabrasion treatments. For example, immediately after a microdermabrasion treatment, it is normal for your skin to look flushed, red and feel sensitive.
In two to three days, these symptoms should subside and your skin should look better. On this day, when you skin looks better, you can repeat the microdermabrasion treatment once again. In some cases, you may be able to use the microdermabrasion treatment once per day to reach your cosmetic goals.
The key is that you want to give your skin adequate time to repair itself after each dermabrasion treatment. Once your skin has calmed down from the previous dermabrasion and your skin is no longer, inflamed or overly sensitive, you can proceed with another at-home microdermabrasion treatment.
While you probably would not get a medial grade microdermabrasion treatment every day or even twice a week, at-home microdermabrasion treatments are much milder, so you can simply increase the frequency of the treatments to emulate professional grade results at home. In short, you will get better results from your microdermabrasion treatments once you customize them to your specific goals and skin type.

Here are some ways to treat Laser Hair Removal Skin Discoloration.
1. Skin coloring lotions.
Many use them before or after laser treatments. Before laser treatments it is not advised to use defoliation creams. Those balms with harsh chemical substances can damage your skin following a laser treatment. These emulsions could cause rashes and continuous discoloration (reddening) of the skin. Make up can be placed on facial areas which have different pigmentation.
2. Sun guard yourself.
One of the best laser hair removal safety tips is that you should use sun guard SPF lotions every day. The SPF is advised being over 30 for it to be able to protect your skin from UV sun rays.

3. Supplements can help for your skin.
Vitamin C will make your skin, especially the discolored place much less vulnerable to the sun's powerful rays and enable repair itself. Your skin doctor might think to give you a prescription for Retin-A, this chemical which is known for being able to remove the top layer of skin faster. This pigmentation is usually at the higher levels of the epidermis, the Retin-A stimulating the response of skin tissue to the epidermal growth therefore whitening the skin tone.
4. Chemical peeling of the skin.
Chemical substance like glycolic acid is employed to remove the top layer of skin. This can be done only at clinic and beauty Spa's, there are some side effects to chemical peeling that might make darker skin blotchy and leave spots on skin.
5. Microdermabrasion.
This method uses micro crystals that are propelled at the skin and instantly drawn up. This kind of treatment is thought to be easy and without too much side effects. One of the good parts is that unlike lasers microdermabrasion works well on all skin types and colors.
6. Photofacial intense pulse light laser.
The laser light is targeted to the skin discoloration area; there it transforms to high temperature by the undesired melanin pigments. The energy of the light produces tiny pores leading to pigments to reduce. This can be done only at laser clinics, and like other dangers of laser hair removal it has side effects too.
7. Skin Resurfacing.
With the use of laser with different wave length, which breaks down proteins into its amino-acid elements, which normally lead to rebuilding of the skin structures this is equivalent to the skin resurfacing. This gets rid of skin problems like skin pigmentation. A few treatments will be needed especially on larger body areas.
Those are some of the solutions you need to look for when searching for laser hair removal skin discoloration relief.

First Time Bikini Wax - For Beginners
Bikini wax is a means of removing pubic hair that has recently grown in popularity. Some people may opt for a bikini wax in preparation for a honeymoon or to wear a summer bikini and others, just for hygienic reasons. With a bikini wax, the waxer applies warm wax to the pubic area, applies cloth strips on the wax to be removed when the wax cools down. Sometimes a thatch of hair is left on the vagina which may be in the shape of a heart or triangle.
With bikini waxing, you can wear your thong or string bikini without any embarrassment of pubic hair. Moreover, with pubic hair removal, the pubic area tends to look and feel more erotic. Hair Removal Choices- Pluck, Wax Or Zap?
Everyone wants to look attractive and sophisticated. One step many of us take is we try to get rid of unwanted hair from our body, as they look unsightly. But often we are not sure how to do it. However, there are many ways of hair removal such as plucking, waxing, and zapping. These are some of the easiest methods for getting rid of excessive and unwanted hair.
Each method temporarily removes unwanted hair. Many opt for these treatments as they are the economically wise choice when compared to permanent methods such as laser treatment or electrolysis. These methods are mildly painful, but are easy to perform.
Generally people with excess hair shave, pluck, or wax them. Plucking is one of the cheapest methods for hair removal. It is safe and simple to use but is painful and takes a lot of time. This method can either be done manually or make use of modern technology such as mechanical plucking devices with rotating springs. Generally tweezing instrument is used for plucking which pulls out the hair follicles. It is mainly for facial areas such as eyebrows and chin. The advantage of this method is that it requires minimal time. It is done by professionals who pluck the eyebrow hair and provides shape to your eyebrows but can also be done in the comfort of home. The negative aspect of this method is that it can cause redness or irritation. It may also cause pimples in and around the area that has been plucked.
Waxing is another technique used to get rid of unwanted hair. It can be done at home easily. It is a safe, economical, and easy method for removing hair. When waxing, a thin layer of warm wax is applied on the skin that is to be waxed. Then the wax is pulled off with the help of a paper or cloth strip. The wax pulls out the hair along with it. The results last for several weeks.
There are some side effects of waxing. It may lead to follicultis or inflammation of the hair follicle. It may also lead to skin damage or skin irritation. Other side effects include stinging sensation and soreness. The advantage of waxing is that it makes your skin look smooth instantly and provides you with long lasting results. It is most effective on larger areas like legs, abdomen and arms.
So apart from the permanent methods available, which are very costly, these temporary methods can also be employed to get rid of unwanted hair. They are easy and inexpensive as compared to the permanent methods of hair removal.
